CAMBODIA DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION FOR CHILDREN (CAMDOC) ABOUT CAMDOC:  CAMDOC is a local, non-profit, non–political, non-partisan and non-governmental foundation, founded by Mr. Borey Moeun, Director of TCT, Dr. Danica Milatovic, Mr. Tom Van Baten (Msc) and Mr. Chhoeun Sohea. Because of the consistent support of Cambodia Child Aid, Germany, CAMDOC keeps growing its activities year after year. CAMDOC works hand in hand with local authories to improve the living condition of poor people living in the villages. Moeun Borey’s Background and Interest: Having lived in a rural area of Siem Reap for many years, Borey understands clearly the living condition and hardship of poor people and children in the remote areas. That’s why he has chosen to spend his money, time and efforts to his charity works with Tom, Dana, Chhoeurn Sohea and other members. Twice a week, Borey always goes to visit CAMDOC Training Center Reurl commune of mission areas to monitor all projects which are implementing. Borey has outstanding relationship with many chiefs of villages and people in the rural areas of Siem Reap, therefore he knows, that the people and children he helps are the poorest who are living in desperate needs that deserve to be helped the most. Chhoeurn Sohea, Program Manager, was born and raised in Siem Reap province. 
Graduated Master of Business Administration from Build Bright University, Sohea is very enthusiastic about charity work since he was a boy. Before working for this Organization, Sohea worked for other local Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for many years; his dream is to be an active member of charitable organization. He is sensitive and helpful. When he was a mathematics teacher of a Junior School in Siem Reap, he adopted many poor children from the countryside and paid for their meals and accommodation monthly. The state salary from his job was not able to keeping him afloat; therefore, he made a little extra money by working at night to help those poor students. |
Before founding this Organization, Borey was a member of the managing staff of some Travel Companies. He gad several positions such as: Tour Guide, Tour Operator, Tour Coordinator, Administrative Manager and General Manager.
