Cambodia has two international airports. One is in Phnom Penh and another one is in Siem Reap and there are many flights to Siem Reap, and Phnom Penh. The direct fights connect Phnom Penh International Airport with China (Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Sanghai), Laos Vientiane), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapre, South Korea (Incheon/Seoul), Taiwan (Taipei), Thailand (Bankok) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City). As for the direct flights to Siem Reap is from Laos (Pakse, Ventiane), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore, South Korea (Incheon/Seoul), Taiwan (Kaohsiung, Taipei), Thailand (Bangkok, U-Tapao (Sattahip/Pattaya) and Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City)
Since the guests are visiting Siem Reap, Angkor, they probably take flight to Siem Reap rather than to Phnom Penh but it might be more expensive than the direct flight to Phnom Penh because Bangkok Airways has a monopoly on direct flight between Bangkok and Siem Reap. Many travellers have chosen to take flight to Phnom Penh and take the public bus to Siem Reap. It’s cheaper than they fly to Siem Reap directly. Travel by bus from Bangkok to Siem Reap is also preferred by many of our customers. Low-cost carrier Air Asia has introduced flights from Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok to Phnom Penh and Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap, while Jetstar Asia has begun flying from Singapore to Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. The airfare is comparatively cheaper. Besides this, there are many flights to Siem Reap and Phnom Penh operate by other airlines include China Southern Airlines, Dragonair, Eva Airways, Korean Air, Laos Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Shanghai Airlines, Thai Airways International and Vietnam Airlines.
